New year, new us

We’ve come a long way since 2016. We traveled around the US twice, paired up with dozens of local businesses, sold a lot of books, and met a lot of people. It’s been a hell of a journey, and even though we’ve settled down in California for the time being, we feel as though things are only getting started.

2019 is going to hold a lot of new things for The Road Virus. We got a little burnt out in our travels and definitely let things fall to the wayside, but we’re ready to completely revamp and re-energize our brand and mission. Pictured here is Jolene when we first got her, and after we painted her. Our baby has grown so much.

Hope everyone had a very spooky goth Christmas. We decorated the house a bit and handed out some candy (no razorblades) - but you can catch us with both next Saturday (11/10) at B-Side in midtown. Do some early Xmas shopping for the creepy sweetheart in your life.

We’re still decompressing, clearing the dust from Wasteland, and moving into our new house, but tomorrow rings in our first event post-Wasteland, as well as the first time The Road Virus will be open 100% as a store. Come see parts of the bus never before open to the public and enjoy a whole slew of Zombie-themed fun at the Crocker Art Museum as hosted by Trash Film O**y / Sacramento Zombie Walk. Don’t miss ArtMix Zombie, tomorrow (Thursday 10/11) from 6p - 9:30p.

Wasteland Weekend is a wrap. We’re already missing our desert home. This year brought out a lot of new ideas and memories, and we can’t wait to get full force back into work for next year. We barely took any photos (again) but here are some we managed to scrounge up (4,5,6, and 9 by Wirehed Laboratories). We’ll be moving into our house hopefully by Monday, so some big changes are coming for us and Jolene. Stay tuned.

We made it. Two days of driving and we’re in Mojave city. Tomorrow at the crack of dawn, we head into the Wasteland city gates. We are awaited, witnessed, and chromed.
