Our new Sunset Capiz Chimes just arrived, and they are absolutely luminous. Layers of translucent capiz shells in saturated sunset colors catch the light beautifully—and add a soft, delicate chime when they move. 🌈✨

This is a brand-new item for us, and we’re a little obsessed. 🥰🌿

Big houseplant delivery coming THURSDAY! 🌿🥰

But in the meantime… how fun is this little Happy Bean, aka Pincushion Peperomia (Peperomia ferreyrae)? Those narrow, bean-like leaves give it such a playful, almost succulent look.

Happy Bean likes bright, indirect light and prefers to dry out a bit between waterings—an easygoing little houseplant with loads of personality.

And just wait until Thursday… we have lots more houseplant goodness headed our way! 🪴

Fresh in from Rainforest Flora • Air Plants & More ! 🌿

We just received a beautiful batch of mounted staghorn ferns, including two varieties: Platycerium superbum and Platycerium bifurcatum. Already mounted on rustic wood boards, they make living works of art for a wall or sheltered patio.

Our Tillandsia selection got a refresh, too! ‘Rainforest Red’ is here in two sizes—a patented Rainforest Flora cultivar that maintains its gorgeous, naturally bright red foliage throughout the year. And be sure to check out T. harrisii with its luscious, silvery foliage. 😍

Feeling creative? We also received fresh grape wood for mounting Tillandsias, along with Tilly Tacker glue, so you can make your own air-plant creations.

And for the bromeliad collectors, we received a few gorgeous 6-inch Neoregelias (not pictured):

Sweet new arrivals! 🐻🍯 We’re excited to now carry The Bee Box Becker Honey bears, produced by Sacramento’s own Becker beekeeping family, tending bees since 1920.🥰

These aren’t artificially flavored honeys—their distinctive colors and flavors come naturally from the flowers the bees forage.

🍇 Blackberry Blossom — fruity and floral; lovely on toast, yogurt or oatmeal
🍊 Orange Blossom — light, fragrant and citrusy; perfect for tea, baking and vinaigrettes
🌾 Buckwheat — dark, rich and earthy, with an almost molasses-like flavor. Buckwheat honey is naturally rich in antioxidant compounds, and research suggests it may also help soothe nighttime coughs and improve sleep when you have a cold.

And yes—the adorable bear bottles make them pretty irresistible. 🐻🍯🥰

Honey should not be given to children under 1 year old.

Tomorrow is a BIG little day. 🌿🥰

Saturday, August 15 at 9 AM, we’re opening the doors to our new indoor store for the very first time!

We’re calling it a SUPER SOFT OPENING because we’re still very much a work in progress. Over the next few weeks, we’ll continue opening more of our outdoor areas and filling the shop with even more plants, gifts, garden goods and décor — including lots of fun things for fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. 🍂🎃🎄

There’s still plenty to finish, but after a very long journey getting here, we’re excited to finally welcome you inside our new digs at 3621 Broadway.

And then, once everything is ready, we’ll celebrate properly with a Grand Reopening Celebration this fall! 🎉
