WE DID IT JOE!! We made it to the 100 club. When I wrote this I just really wanted to put something out to say I finally did it. I had to get this dream off my chest even if only a handful of people read it. It was about me. But to know so many people enjoyed and took something from it is so dope and I can’t wait to continue writing and sharing. Thank you!! Don’t mind me just preaching to myself. One thing I had to do was find balance between keeping a schedule and forcing the creative process to meet deadlines. Once I started forcing it I took the joy out of it. And once I did that it just didn’t hit the same and I found myself on a hiatus after one novella. But I didn’t quit. I took the time to develop a creative process where discipline and creativity meet and thrive. Transitioning from writing as a hobby to writing professionally was more then I thought it would be. But all I can say is don’t stop. Start over, go back to the drawing board, remain a student always, ask for help, research, rebrand, whatever you need to do but don’t stop.

Knowing she had entrusted me with her time made it harder to break the kiss this time. It may have seemed small to some, but I didn’t take it lightly. Time was something you couldn’t get back. It was the most expensive currency we had to give. And whether she believed it yet or not, I had no intentions of fumbling the bag.
