Tomorrow marks the final day of my Kickstarter for the Weeli, and although it didn’t reach its funding goal, I want to thank everyone who has supported me on this journey. From the start, I knew there was only a slim chance of the Kickstarter’s success, especially without the re$ource$ to run big ad campaigns. By day three, the numbers made it clear that the campaign wouldn’t meet its target.
Due to personal health and legal challenges, I’ve made the heartbreakingly difficult decision to put Weeli on hold for the foreseeable future. My hope is to revisit it someday, God willing, when I have the funds to tool it myself and market it appropriately. I will maintain and protect my IP because I *know* what it’s worth.
I’ve been navigating some frustrating challenges lately, facing an uphill battle in a system that doesn’t always work in favor of mothers, but the support and resilience I’ve gained are invaluable. My experiences have only fueled my determination to keep fighting—not only for myself, but for other moms in similar situations.
As I figure out what’s next, I’m open to many possibilities. You might see me return to real estate, as your server at a local restaurant, or working remote sales in some way. Please keep me and J in your prayers, and remember that sometimes, despite appearances, we’re all carrying more than we show.
