One of the biggest mistakes I see is relying on a loofah for exfoliation. Unfortunately, it doesn't remove enough dead skin to create the smooth canvas needed for an even, long-lasting tan.

Many store-bought scrubs can also leave behind an oily residue that acts as a barrier between your skin and the tanning solution.

For the best results, use an exfoliating glove or mitt, or choose a spray tan-safe body scrub like AYU. Proper exfoliation helps your tan develop more evenly, fade more naturally, and last longer!
