I’m loving this First Aid Salve! I’m always getting scratches and bug bites and this stuff is amazing. I call it my magic cream. A very mild and not sweet odor.

Escapees! I have only one goat that jumps out of the goat yard and that’s Alfie and he’s 12. Alfie and his sister Carla were the result of an opps breeding prior to my getting my first 7 Angora goats back in 2014. They are an Angora Saanen mix and I bred the doe Carla one time so she’d have a friend . She had twins, Ben and Jerry and sadly we lost Jerry😢 Carla is pretty small and everyone thinks she’s pregnant because she’s got these big saddle bags😆😆 I had to go in and pull out Ben by a leg because he was backwards and stuck.
Anyway, Alfie gets out and then he wants to go back in through the gate when I bring evening Hay, and then the other two like to escape so I just let them go to do a little w**d trimming. When it started getting darker, they came back in so I don’t really worry.

Goats are browsers and prefer to eat leaves, tree bark, bushes etc vs. grazing grass like sheep . My Angora goats are fiber goats that grow mohair which I use to get socks and yarn made and if I let them out to browse in the woods, their fleeces would be a mess . Don’t worry because they get a lot of very nice grassy Orchard grass hay that cost me an arm and a leg and I collect branches to bring in to them hence why I always request Christmas tree trees at the end of the holiday season.
It was a beautiful evening and another beautiful sunset at Cherry Mountain Farm!! These quiet evenings with my animals are so relaxing !
