This Old Couch is not a thrift store, fle

a market or garage sale. This Old Couch utilizes a 2,000 + sq. showroom to display and sell previously owned upscale, quality home and office furnishings and home accessories, all with your convenience in mind. We maintain consignor contracts for 90 days resulting in a constant turnover of quality goods promoting high, repeat shopper traffic. What items will The Old Couch accept? We are interested in any attractive piece that would fit in the home such as: furniture, framed artwork, area rugs, lamps, and larger home accent items. We do not accept mattresses, electronis, appliances, camping or sports items, organs, plastic lawn furniture, grills, clear glass items or miscellaneous dishes. Are my items marked down over the 90 day consignment period? We mark down consigned items 10% every 30 days

How do I find out how much you will price my items for? Who sets the price? Priced too high—the article won’t sell. Priced too low—it’s unfair to the consignor. We would not be able to determine the price of an item until we physically inspect it. At that time, we jointly determine what price to put on your item.Using the information that you supply about items you wish to sell (original cost, last cleaning or reupholstering, overall condition) and merging that with our knowledge, we feel that we can obtain for you the best return for your merchandise. What happens if my items don’t sell? Items that are desirable and priced right do sell. Should your item not sell within a 90-day exposure in our showroom, you may reclaim your item or elect to donate it to our designated charity. We prepare the paperwork and arrange delivery verifying your donation to the non-profit agency. Do you have people available to help get things from our truck/auto into your store? No, we do not. Please bring someone with you to assist in loading and unloading your things. We deliver on Saturday for a $75.00 fee.
