🌸🧹 Spring Clean-Up is Back, Worthington! 🧹🌸

It’s time to clear out the clutter and freshen up for spring! The City of Worthington’s 2026 Annual Spring Clean-Up is right around the corner.

📅 Pick-up begins: Monday, May 4, 2026
🚫 Do NOT place items out before: Wednesday, April 29

📝 Important reminders:
• Items must have a paid tag attached or they will NOT be collected
• Tags are available April 27 – May 1 at:

City Hall (303 9th St)
Public Utilities (318 9th St)
Schaap Sanitation (Hwy 59/60 South)
• No tags will be sold once pick-up begins
• Crews will make ONE pass only

💲 Most large items: $15 each
🆓 Some items like lumber, doors, and metal: No charge (limit applies)

🚫 Not accepted:
Recyclables, tires, paint, hazardous waste, trees/brush, concrete, batteries, and liquids

⚠️ Items must be properly sorted and bundled to avoid being left behind. If items are not picked up, residents are responsible for removal and may be subject to a fee.

We’re often asked for recommendations in the area when home is no longer an option - here’s one to consider.

I need everyone’s help. I am trying to come up with ideas to ensure people know of our services. I often hear that people don’t know about us and that’s hard to hear as we have been in business over 8 years. We have struggled getting our rooms filled on a consistent basis and being a small family ran business, that makes things difficult for our bottom line. We have a great reputation in the community and with those we serve, but I can’t help but feel like I am still failing because not all people know about us and the quality care we provide. I am at a loss. Any suggestions would be great. To all our current and past client family members thank you for all your referrals. When we do get new admits they are generally based off of all your positive reviews.
Adding, we have done billboards, booths at the fair, local radio commercials, Keloland Living interviews and commercials, ads in the local paper, consistent ads on Facebook and Google and have had communication with the hospital. We also participate with the chamber and have spoken at the rotary club meetings.
