Today we remember country and Southern rock legend Charlie Daniels on what would have been his 90th birthday.

Best known for his unforgettable hit “The Devil Went Down to Georgia,” Charlie also gave us classics like “Long Haired Country Boy,” “The South’s Gonna Do It Again,” and “Uneasy Rider.”

His incredible fiddle playing, unmistakable voice, and contributions to country and Southern rock music made him one of the most beloved entertainers of his generation.

Henry Franklin Winkler was born on October 30, 1945, in Manhattan, New York.

And has been married to Stacey Winkler since 1978.
The motorcycle he rode on Happy Days (1974) was the same motorcycle Steve McQueen rode in the famous motorcycle scene at the end of The Great Escape (1963).
Played the same character (Arthur 'Fonzie' Fonzarelli) on five different series: Happy Days (1974), Laverne & Shirley (1976), Mork & Mindy (1978), The Fonz and the Happy Days Gang (1980) and Joanie Loves Chachi (1982).

Georg Stanford Brown (born June 24, 1943 in Havana, Cuba) is 83 years old today.

Best known as one of the stars of the ABC police drama The Rookies (1972–1976), Brown played Officer Terry Webster, becoming part of the ensemble that helped define early-1970s television police dramas.

During the 1960s, Brown built a steady career in television and film, including roles in The Comedians (1967) and Bullitt (1968). He continued to work steadily through the 1970s and 1980s, appearing in major projects such as the landmark miniseries Roots (1977) and Roots: The Next Generations (1979), as well as the comedy hit Stir Crazy (1980) alongside Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor.

Brown also expanded into directing, working on episodes of acclaimed series such as Hill Street Blues, and later appeared in projects including North & South, Linc’s, and Nip/Tuck.

He was married to actress Tyne Daly from 1966 to 1990, and they have three daughters.
