Straight Shootin Gun Works / SSGW Meeting the gunsmithing needs of northeastern Wyoming hunters, target shooters and concealed carry o Gun work has always been a passion for me.

My dad taught me to shoot when I was strong enough to hold up a rifle. My age is coming close to the time that I need to start a second career. I have set up a small gunsmithing shop out at our place. While I build a customer base, I am adding to the tooling needed to do more than the basic hand tool work. Presently, I can do lathe work, cold blueing, CeraKoting and other work. I can do light mill

ing with a lathe attachment, but hope to move to a full size mill this spring. Hot bluing is in the future as well. Aside from personal experience, I am going through the AGI professional gunsmithing certification. With that behind me, if I don't know how to do something the right way, I have resources and will find out before I attempt it. I do some of the ugly work that others may not want to do too, like wood stock refinishing
