I could hardly wait to share this adorable baby blanket that I made for a friend who had her first baby last month! This quickly became one of my favorite creations, from the sweet and dainty pattern, to the muted gender-neutral colors, to the detailing along the edges. This blanket turned out to be so incredibly soft, and is the perfect piece for their family to use as a crib blanket, on their first “big kid” bed, or to pass on to the next baby!

In honor of International Women’s Day, I am finally posting this shawl/cardigan I made for my beautiful mother this Christmas! She wanted something to keep her warm around the house, and I was hoping to give her something she would want to wear no matter the weather. I decided on an oversized shawl that included defined arm holes to keep the sweater from needing constant readjustment. I chose a classic and traditional stitch pattern to match her personality, with a modern and flattering shape for effortless style. Ultimately, it’s simply a chic, wearable blanket that will keep her cozy all winter long ☺️

Currently working on four larger projects simultaneously that need to be done by Christmas, on top of finishing up my first semester of grad school 🤦🏻‍♀️ they are each in different stages of completion and I’ve tried to convince myself that working on them at the same time is a good idea (I’m quickly learning that it is not).
I love the neutral color pallets I’ve chosen for these items! Even though they are each for different people, they look super cozy sitting next to each other, making me want to cuddle up and forget about all of the work I have to do this week! 🤗

It is officially cold-weather season, which means it’s full on crochet time! I whipped up this headband ear warmer for a couple weeks ago and she’s finally getting a chance to wear it! I love how chunky and cozy this turned out, and I’m starting to think I need to make one for myself 😌

Until the weather gets cold enough to have real pumpkins, this little cutie will have to do! 😍

I haven’t been crocheting much lately (I am beginning a Masters program tomorrow and have been a bit preoccupied!) but I wanted to share this photo of one of my more recent creations! I made this ring/jewelry bag as a gift for my step sister who got married last month. The yarn went beautifully with the colors in her dress (swipe to see the dress!) and it was important to me to make her something that would be useful the day of as well as after the wedding! These beautiful photos were taken by who truly showcased the love and companionship shared by the happy couple. I’m honored to have been able to be a part of their special day 😊

This custom-made crochet cross-back top is my first official everyday wear clothing item! I’ve wanted to dive into clothing for a while and inspired me to take on this adorable crop top, perfect for unbearable southern summers 🌞

Yarn courtesy of and is a gorgeous cotton, bamboo and silk blend!

Per usual, I do not follow patterns, but the majority of the top is half double crochet, and the back piece where the straps loop through is double crochet.

Finally get to post about this gorgeous throw! I was keeping it under wraps until I could give it to my mom for her birthday, and now that she’s seen it, it’s too pretty not to share 😍 I used a mix of stitches to create a classic, traditional look while maintaining the style and colors my mom loves. Finished with scalloped edging, this is the perfect cuddling blanket to share or hog to yourself 😊

Finally finished this throw blanket and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! The colors are gorgeous and all of the details on the edges and throughout the blanket make this piece extra special 😊 excited to give this to to keep her warm on these cold and rainy days!
