RIF Forge Hand forged custom knives and handles What is the RIF? There comes a point in life after military service, where you find your next journey.

The RIF is the lasting imprint of time served in the military as an infantryman, also known as the Resting Infantry Face. Blacksmith Trent Hoskins served in the US Army Infantry in Iraq. For Trent, blacksmithing became a passion and positive outlet to move past the experiences of the war. Blacksmithing works wonders to relieve stress and provide the reward of creating a unique one of a kind work o

f art. Purpose is gained through arming customers with the right weapons to accomplish the mission, whether that be in the kitchen, on the hunt, or at the camp. The one thing blacksmithing cannot do, is release you from the RIF. You can take the grunt out of the war, but you can’t take the RIF from the grunt. Here at RIF Forge we value a high quality blade, handmade with beautiful craftsmanship, where no two products are the same, and no mission is too challenging to tame. Come see us in Clarksville this weekend!

The Virginia Lake Festival is just days away and we are ready for it in lake country! Fast Lane Band featuring Adam Lee Decker (former American Idol finalist) will bring fantastic live entertainment on Friday evening at 7pm during opening ceremonies.

Kids Zone Rides located at Pocket Park on July 18th from 4-10pm and be sure to get your t-shirts at the Chamber booth located in front of Town Hall.

It's going to be amazing - don't miss it!!!!
