Everything here has been gone through top to bottom—cleaned, adjusted, sealed, and brought back to life. Always a privilege to work on instruments at this level.

All of these are now finished up and ready to head back to their owners… or in a few cases, possibly find new ones 👀

Just completed a full C.O.A. on a Jack Moore Professional flute for The Flute Finder LLC

I feel genuinely fortunate to have had the opportunity to service such an exceptional instrument. The work included a complete teardown, ultrasonic cleaning, full mechanism inspection, regulation, and detailed adjustment throughout. Both headjoints were carefully cleaned and evaluated for fit and response, with special attention given to preserving the unique playing characteristics of the solid gold headjoint. The flute is now sealing cleanly, responding evenly across all registers, and playing freely with excellent color and projection.

Jack Moore flutes are beautifully crafted, and it’s a privilege to bring one back to optimal playing condition—especially with multiple headjoints that offer such a broad and refined tonal palette.

🔧✨ Sonare SF-705 on the bench ✨🔧

Just wrapped up a full C.O.A. (Clean, Oil, and Adjust) on this Sonare SF-705. The mechanism has been disassembled, thoroughly cleaned, oiled, and regulated. Pads were reseated, key heights balanced, and spring tensions adjusted for an even, responsive feel.

Now it seals beautifully across the range and plays with a clear, even tone — exactly how this model is meant to perform. 🎶

🎶✨ Finished restoring this Sonaré flute — and it’s playing and shining like the day it left the factory! After a full restoration, it’s back to flawless condition both in tone and appearance. Always a good feeling bringing these instruments back to life and ready for the next chapter of music. 🎵🛠️

Several years back, I undertook the restoration of a Gemienhardt flute that had been damaged in a house fire. Today, I wrapped up a different project: a flute that was discovered in a river. This was certainly not what I anticipated restoring next. However, after some careful cleaning, it turned out beautifully and is now ready for many more years of music!
