To all the Round Ponders and Shoppe Patrons, my Mom says hello! It’s her birthday today! She’d be upset if I revealed her age…. so I won’t tell … but she’s doing fine. I sent her a box of goodies, things that are hard to find or very expensive in Bangkok… like her favorite sunblock and lip balm, a variety of her favorite cheeses and crackers, and other goodies she misses from the states. And a beautiful forever bouquet from freshcutpaper.com. If you’ve never seen their bouquets, they are spectacular! Then we had one of her neighbors arrange a video call and Colette (my daughter) sang happy birthday while I played it on the ukulele (because I can’t sing…. as a matter of fact, if I sang, she’d age a few years, lol). Those who know her know she’s not computer or cell phone literate… and stubbornly refuses to be… but I can tell you she was truly happy to be on that video call!!
