Blankets, hoodies, mugs – all signs point to cozy season at Goodwill.

Concert season might be over but the vibe never ends.

Grunge gear, vintage tees, ripped denim – this is the mood forever. Rock it like you just left the pit.

Chicago, you really know how to make a scene. 👻✨
The costumes? Iconic. The dance moves? UnBOOlievable. The memories? Picture-perfect. 📸💀
We brought a little Haunted Runway magic to Arts in the Dark , and YOU brought the energy! From dancing in the streets to striking a pose in our photo frames, you made this one unforgettable night.
A HUGE shoutout to Hip Hop ConnXion Chicago HQ for bringing the moves, Chello for keeping the crowd hyped, DJ Ray Eng Music for bringing the beats, and Sharene and the LUMA8 team for helping bring it all to life! 🖤
And to our incredible costume finalists and everyone who came out to celebrate, thank you for making The Haunted Runway a night to remember!
Until next time, Chicago. Stay spooky, stay creative, and keep giving us looks to die for. 🦇✨

Strong communities are built when organizations invest in people.

That's why we're proud to recognize Advocate Health with the 2026 Corporate IMPACT Award. Their partnership demonstrates how employers can help expand access to opportunity and create pathways for individuals to grow, succeed and contribute their talents.

Together, we're building a community where more people can achieve their goals and reach their potential.

Every wash, every wear – denim season is back.

Coat season loading…grab your fuzzy armor. Coats, jackets, vests - all cozy, all thrifted. Because warmth looks even better secondhand.

Proof you were a real 90s kid: you still light up for Lite-Brite.

No costume? No problem. 🎃🛒

Our content creator Shelby Shaper joined Block Club Chicago's It's All Good podcast to take host Jon Hansen on a Halloween costume treasure hunt at a South Side Goodwill!

Because sometimes the best costume ideas aren't planned. They're discovered somewhere between the clothing racks and a little imagination. ✨

🎧 Tune in for some secondhand inspiration before Halloween sneaks up on you!

And the spotlight goes to...

Congratulations to Rosabella, our Grand Prize Winner of Goodwill Thrift Studio Presents: The Haunted Runway!

Her look reminded us exactly what this competition was all about:
• Creativity over perfection
• Imagination over expectations
• Giving secondhand a spectacular second act

As our Grand Prize Winner, Rosabella takes home:
• A $250 Goodwill gift card
• VIP seating for four at next year's Arts in the Dark parade
• A place in Haunted Runway history

To our finalists, everyone who entered, every person who voted and every creative soul who joined us along the way...

Thank you for showing Chicago what happens when creativity takes center stage. See you next year.
