From Retail to Real Estate in 2 years. On January 31st, it will be the 2nd Anniversary of the closing of The Chandlery. The memories, the friends, our associates, and Canton Street still mean so much to my family. Mary Anne and Jimmy are very happily retired and still in Roswell. I'm happily situated in my new career with Harry Norman North Atlanta.

So, I'm still in retail, however, the gifts (homes) are just too big to gift wrap. Instead, I can put a wreath on the door upon closing.

If anyone is looking to downsize or knows someone who is, this ranch at the Orchards at Crabapple is perfect. Completely renovated, one-level living located in Roswell.

Somehow, I still keep finding 'glitter' in my house. :-) I blame Dusky Turner for that.

All that being said, we miss you all year and especially during the holidays. The Chandlery enjoyed 40 wonderful years because of you.

I admit, I miss retail, especially, this time of year. So, I have few things to share with you that are getting me in the Holiday Spirit!

1) Have you been to Woodstock Market? 5500 Bells Ferry Road, 30102. Just 15 miles west of Roswell at the corner of Hwy 92/Belles Ferry on the left. They are having its Holiday Open House this weekend. The market is stocked with holiday goodies and they have tents in the parking lot this weekend.

2) I'm working with a company out of Nebraska called Koda's Restoriation. Amazingly gorgeous furniture and accessories made out of reclaimed Nebraska barn wood. Please see them at the Woodstock Market in the parking lot up against Bells Ferry Rd. The outdoor market hours today are 10-6 and tomorrow 12-3.

3) Did you collect VIETRI Olde Saint Nick from The Chandlery in the past? Findlay Rowe now carry's VIETRI and is hosting a signing event like The Chandlery held in the the past. Their event will be held on Nov. 9th from 3-9pm with Susan Gravely (co-founder of VIETRI) and one of their Artisans from Italy. They are located at 1030 Woodstock Road,Suite 3114 Roswell, GA 30075

4) Have you missed The Chandlery's in-store artist Carla Marshall of Marshall Artworks? She is also now located at Findlay Rowe. See above #3 for its address. Personlized ornaments are still available as well as her prints and dog portraits.

5) Don't be surprised if you see Dusky Turner the week of Nov. 12th on and around Canton Street. He will be decorating Salt/Roswell, LA Steaks/Roswell, 1920/Roswell, Salt/Alpharetta, and Salt/ Woodstock. PHEW! Stop by and say hi!
