The Barne took another hit today 💥 But this is the least of today's aftermath.

No flood this time, just super high damaging winds. There are trees and power lines down all around my community. PRAISE THE LORD the trees in my back yard fell away from my house, and just missed my neighbor's house. They are completely uprooted, and will take some work to remove and repair the 6 foot crater. The gazebo is completely crushed, but I was looking to get rid of it anyways 🙃This could have been much MUCH worse. 🌪

I was outside cleaning up The Barne for upcoming pick ups and to get ready to re-open next week, when the sirens went off and it started downpouring. I grabbed the pups and headed for the basement, called some neighbors to check in and waited for the storm to pass. I emerged to find lots of trees down, garbage cans strewn about, branches everywhere, roads closed, and neighbors checking in on each other.

The Barne can be repaired, or replaced if need be. We are still without power, but we still have a roof and no lives were lost in the damage. 🙏 Thanks to all who called and messaged to check in. I'm so thankful we're all ok.
