Spent my first day of '26 up at the land. I pulled a bunch out of storage and got set up. Preened the winter mess and staged the plots for this year. I have 13 plots to cycle and 3 new ones planned!

No bones in the trees to take pictures of since they are all with me! I also planted a ton of wild flowers in the bone plots. Hopefully they don't get choked out by the weeds. Either way, the bones in the ground feed the plants above.

I've been asked - what are all the gallon jugs?! That is old bone whitening and degreasing solution. All environmentally safe, just a little skunky from the first use in the bone whitening. It still whites, it just gets smelly. No worries for the middle of nowhere, IL. And it's great to water the plots with!
