June’s Employee Highlight is ACE Hardware’s very own Sydney Lloyd. Sydney’s been with ACE for two years, but this isn’t her first time at Stewart’s ACE Hardware. She was with the team for a solid 13 years, from 2005 to 2018, until life took her on other adventures. She rejoined the ACE team in 2024, and with all her previous experience, she can pretty much pitch in wherever she’s needed.
While her primary departments are plumbing and customer service, she can also easily help with paint, freight, and cashiering. Her primary motivation is helping customers. Whether it’s helping them find the needed bit of pipe, tool, or fixture, or offering deeper suggestions for what they may need, she takes great satisfaction in helping the public.
When she’s not at work, she likes to be outside, whether it’s at the lake fishing or in our garden tending to produce or flowers. She’s also spending time at her friend’s farm in Gusher. Other activities include canning (all the fresh produce from her garden) and playing bingo. Sydney’s dream is to retire someday next to a serene lake where the fish are always biting.
