The Greenhouse on Grand Flowers, home plants, garden plants and more. Since 1974, James and Kay Price have owned the shop and greenhouse on the south side of Roodhouse.

We are a full service flower shop providing fresh flowers, tropical plants, silk flowers, angels, and Yankee candles. We have something for any occasion. Our delivery area covers most of northern Greene County (Roodhouse, White Hall, Carrollton) plus parts of Scott and Morgan Counties. We are also a FTD florist - helping you send flowers anywhere. In the spring our greenhouses are filled with a wi

de variety of annuals, perennials, and vegetable plants. We carry a large selection of perennials that are available from Spring through Fall. Built in the early 1920's, this shop and greenhouse have become a well known establishment on the south side of Roodhouse. We are located on the corner of Hwy 67 and Grand Ave, next to Fernwood Cemetery. In addition to the floral business, people are well familiar with our bright display gardens each year, spread over our three acre location. Our large annual and perennial gardens have become a popular place to visit. Over the years the gardens have been a spot for many kids to have their prom or senior pictures, as well as family or even wedding photos. People are welcome to our gardens anytime.

How are fall baskets going, you may ask? 🍂🌼 Well with only a few minor interruptions from our little helper, we are making progress!

We’re getting lots of fall goodies stocked up and can’t wait to have the shop back open to its regular hours starting next week. 🤎 Please stay tuned — fall is starting to make its way into the greenhouse!

Behind the scenes looks a little different this time of year! 💐
In this past month, instead of a full greenhouse and spring rushes, these summer days are filled with cleanup + repairs, bouquet making, and preparing for what’s next! We’re grateful for every season here and especially looking forward filling shop with all Fall goodies!☺️☀️

☀️ Heat Week Hours Update ☀️

Whew… this heat is no joke! For the comfort of both our customers and staff, we’re going to adjust our hours for the remainder of the week.
We will be open:
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
then taking an afternoon heat break, and reopening
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, except for Friday!
Morning and evening will be the best times to shop while things are a bit cooler and more comfortable! We still have plenty of beautiful plants looking for homes, and we’d love to see you!

A little shop update for the week!🪴

‼️Since the rain decided to really show off last week, we are extending our Perennial Sale, so everyone has a chance to come shop!

‼️And for annuals: everything inside the greenhouse is just 76¢ THIS WEEK! Yes, really! It’s the perfect time to grab those last minute summer blooms!

We will be closed on the 4th of July, and after this week, our hours will shift to 9-12 on weekdays; so you are still able to stop in a shop the perennial area + flower shop!💐

We have got a fun week ahead in Greene County, so here’s what this week will look like around the shop!

🌼Annuals are still 50% off for the remainder of the season, so if you’ve been meaning to fill in a few spots before the Homecoming festivities, now is your time!

With the Lion’s Club Homecoming celebration happening this weekend, we will be closing early on Friday and Saturday so everyone can head to White Hall and enjoy the festivities! 🎇

Also, a little reminder: after the Fourth of July, the greenhouse portion will be closed for the season(perennials will be still available to shop), with hours changing, but the shop will remain open for flowers, gifts, meat, and all the pretty things!
