Joannie's Gems Joannies Gems was founded in May of 2011 shortly before my husband and I spent our honeymoon on the beach of Cancun Mexico.

Permanently closed.

The waters off the shores of the carribean inspired me to design many of my barefoot sandals and other wrist, ankle, and necklace jewelry. While vacationing in Mexico I witnessed many couples having their nuptials performed on the beach as well as poolside. The sunsets are beautiful in the carribean islands as I watched the sun set over the ocean and the beams of light danced on the water like the

facets of jewels. Upon returning home from our honeymoon I started making the jewelry I invisioned in my head. Over the years I have worked with many brides in developing their beach wedding foot and ankle jewelry. Over time I have expanded my collections to include matching bracelets, earings, foot and ankle jewelry. I hope you have enjoyed reading my story as I continue my journey.
