Day 3 of summer reading....today was Dino-mite as the Morton County Extension interns read "How to Catch a Dinosaur" by Adam Wallace and the children were captivated by the silly adventure. After the story, our young paleontologists got to work creating their very own fossils and making dinosaur crafts. We had a roaring good time, learning and playing together.

Another day of "Unearthing a Story" brought Jennifer Hanson , Smoky Hills PBS , as a guest. She read a story, played some fun listening games and led the group in making dinosaur puppets. We are always so grateful for our guest speakers!

📚☀️ Summer reading came to life today!
We paired a great story with a hands-on science activity, using baking soda and vinegar to unearth hidden treasures and bring the book to life.
