Can I be real with you for a second? 💜

The church was never meant to be a fashion show. It was meant to be a hospital for the broken, the lost, the searching, and the hurting. And last time I checked Jesus never once looked at what someone was wearing before He loved them. 🙏

Somewhere along the way we got it twisted. We started worrying more about dress codes than lost souls. More about what you wore than why you came. More about tradition than transformation.

But here is the truth that never changes God looks at the heart. Not the outfit.

The woman who walked in with jeans and mascara running down her face? She needed Jesus just as much as the one in the Sunday dress. The man who wandered in off the street? He is EXACTLY who the church was built for. 🙌

If someone is brave enough to walk through those doors praise music or hymns, jeans or pearls, broken or barely holding on the only response should be WELCOME HOME.

Don't let the church that turned you away be your picture of God. Because His arms? They are ALWAYS open. 💜
