If you look closely you can see FDNY Ladder 118 driving across the Brooklyn bridge towards the burning towers. All 6 of those men on board were not coming home that night. 6 families left without fathers, husbands, brothers, and sons. Unfathomable courage and selflessness was displayed by tens of thousands of people that day. May we never forget those who were lost and those that sacrificed everything 20 years ago today.
