As most of you may know, the owner and operator of Kalyns Resale passed away in November. Kalyn Maddux-Green was as amazing as they come. She truly held no bias about personal status and treated everyone with respect. She was my mother, best friend and so much more. She passed with her husband, son inlaw and myself right there beside her. Butch and I held her hand until the very end. She will truly be missed in both our hearts, and the community of Rogers.

Her husband, Gilbert-Butch Green will be continuing her business on as he had while she was sick. He is getting more stuff and pulling out things in storage to keep the business going.

Due to emotional issues, I have been unable to make it down there. It brings back so many memories that I have been unable to face. As her only living child, this loss hit me harder than most understand. Shes all I've known my whole life. She was truly the glue that held me/us together.

I have heard that the new road is open and the business is no longer on the main road. Please continue to go through and support my mother's legacy. Kalyns Resale was her pride and joy. She missed many family gatherings, events and holidays to get out and talk to people. It wasn't always about making money for her. Yes, she had bills to pay. But she loved helping people beyond anything money could provide.
