Two days left to shop! Our bookstore is permanently closing at the end of the day on Saturday, December 9th. All inventory is 50% off! We’re offering free soft drinks, lemonade, or a complimentary glass of wine while you shop. And, when you make a purchase, you can pick a free book to take home with you (advanced reader copies). Cheers to the next chapter! 🥂📚

Our bookstore is closing on Saturday, December 9th. But, we love our book club, it’s going strong, and it will continue! We’re a fun group of approximately 10 people - some months are more, some are less. You’re invited to come when it fits with your schedule. We meet on the last Thursday of the month from 6:00-8:00 pm.

Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 25th. We’re meeting at Baked by Kori at 128 South 2nd Street in Downtown Rogers. We’ll be discussing The Diamond Eye by Kate Quinn. You’re welcome to purchase your book anywhere you choose, borrow it from the library or a friend, or listen to it on audio.

We won’t be posting about book club on this social media account any longer. So, if you’d like to be included in the communication that will be sent out about future meetings, please call us or send a private message with your email address. Long live good books and great book club discussions!

On November 1st, we announced that we would be permanently closing our bookstore in December. During the last month, many of you have supported us with your purchases as we liquidate our inventory. Thank you so much!

Now with a mix of emotions, we announce that the last day to shop with us will be Saturday, December 9th. All inventory is 40% off.

As we turn the final page of this chapter, we want to express our deepest gratitude. Your support of our small business has been a true gift, and we will be forever thankful for the great friendships made here. Happy holidays to you all! 📚♥️

On this Small Business Saturday, I’d like to tell you a story…

Once upon a time, there was a very special elementary school librarian. The librarian loved her library and her local bookstore so much that she created an idea to serve them both. She developed a student advisory committee made-up of 13 fourth and fifth graders who were charged with the task of selecting new books for their school library. Those students and their librarian met with the bookstore owner, and together they chose some great books - more than 150 in total! The local bookstore owner is so happy that her books have found a new home at the school and will be enjoyed for years to come. The end.

The story you’ve just read is true. Bookstore owner Beth will be forever thankful for Jones Elementary School librarian Jessica! One customer can make such a big difference. And, when a small business is supported by its community good things happen. We make new friends, we learn new things, and we’re often left with a story to tell about the goodness of others.

Many thanks to all who have shopped with us during our time in Downtown Rogers! It has truly been a joy to serve you!!
