All Convenience Center locations will accept ONLY the following items:
HOUSEHOLD FURNITURE (mattresses, sofas, tables, etc.)
HOUSEHOLD ELECTRONICS - Items manufactured to have an electronic circuit board AND a cord (radios, DVDs, VCRs, telephones, televisions, computers, monitors, printers, microwaves, etc.) plus peripherals that attach to an electronic such as speakers keyboard, mouse, etc. [Note: Electrical items are NOT all electronics including vacuums, toasters, lamps, fans, etc. These items should be handled as you would your other trash.)
HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES - large household equipment primary composed mostly of metal and which can sometimes be manufactured to contain refrigerant (such as refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, dryers, water heaters, dishwashers, ranges, room air conditioners, dehumidifiers, icemakers) Please Note: ALL FOOD PRODUCTS MUST BE REMOVED FROM REFRIGERATORS AND FREEZERS BEFORE DELIVERY TO THE CONVENIENCE CENTER LOCATION. Notice: It is illegal to break or cut refrigerant lines. A penalty of $25.00 per item will be charged for broken or cut lines.
METAL ITEMS - items composted of at least 90% metal (grills, bicycles, metal fencing, metal lawn furniture, etc.)
OVERSIZED ITEMS - common household items which will not fit inside a typical household trash container such as large playground equipment, vacuums, oversized toys, car seats, etc.
TIRES – Up to 4 per tires of any size (with or without rims) will be accepted from each household per month. Extra tires must be delivered to the Centerton location only and fees will apply.
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE – Subject to strict compliance with program rules regarding acceptable material and volume limits. Refer to the limitations of material types and allowed volumes on the back of flyer. **Non-household material WILL NOT be accepted, as by law it must be handled by a commercial hazardous waste company.
THE CONVENIENCE CENTER PROGRAM WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY ITEM NOT SPECIFICALLY LISTED ABOVE INCLUDING:
Household or commercial trash, construction/demolition debris, yard waste, business or commercial materials or hazardous waste.
