Due to gas prices, covid, Monkey pox? We will be shutting down the store, not because of the slander. We will Operate on marketplace and sell there during these hard times. We will still be helping the town and accepting donations. Thank you for everyone's support! We had been hard at work on hwy 1 today and had received a visit from our local sheriff dept concerning the use of w**d killer. I can understand the concerns of w**d and grass killer around a fire hydrant,I totally get it, but if there were any doubt that it could contaminate our (mine) city water I wouldn't use it. Fire hydrants are sealed and will not pe*****te the cast iron. It would be questioned if gallons had been poured but can assure the amount used will not be a hazard. We've gotten the thumbs up from local authorities and it's 100% safe. There are few that would like us to fail in the manicuring and upkeep of the town.Why? We don't know. This is not the first that someone has had an issue with what we are trying to achieve, there have been many occurrences. We have the support from others and will keep trying to do good things for our town and apologize for those who don't agree. We will be open tomorrow from 8-2pm. Please come stop by and show your support. No obligation for purchase but maybe to see the oldest building in Rodessa, la. With our display case full of history. Thank you to everyone for showing support or not lol. We understand we can't win them all

The side walk leading to the old Rodessa school on 168 has been cleared today! If you support what we are trying to achieve, come and see us Wednesday from 8-2pm. Remember if we don't have support we can't do much. With the covid and rise of fuel we understand times are hard for most. For those fortunate we ask for donations of any kind so that we can keep the maintenance up here in Rodessa. Thanks to our customers and all who have donated. Our Summer hours will begin 8am-2pm starting Wednesday May 11th- till. Lots of brand name clothing, shoes, gifts, crafts, tools, pyrex dishes, microwave, you name it we pretty much have it! Come see us then and stay hydrated, it's gonna get HOT we'll see y'all soon!
