Happy Father’s Day

To the Dads, the Grandads, the Step-Dads, the partners, the uncles, and anyone who steps up in familial support and takes on that vital role.

If you have dried tears, tied laces, soothed scares and chased away monsters - today is your day to reflect and take all of that in.

You are most definitely someone’s hero, though it may seem far from it at times.
You are a role model, a safe place and a port in the storm.

You are the shoulders that umbrella the team, you are the roof, the structure, the solid.

Thank you for all that you do, for all that you wish you could do and for all that you will endeavour to do more of, with every passing day.

We see you, and we know it’s hard.

We had a visitor in the greenhouse today. Poor thing had jumped its nest.
I got Sammy inside the house because he was looking for it. He could hear it but hadn't found it. When I went back down a little bit later it was gone. 🥺
