FINALLY made it to see the wonderful owners at .cafe and it was very much worth the wait! You can typically find them parked outside of , but they do move around so be sure to follow them for pop-up details! 🛻

The crookie is definitely my favorite and I can’t wait to try their sourdough chocolate chip cookie! 🍪 I’m also excited to try more of their drinks, specifically the strawberry matcha 🍓, YUM!

Please make sure to give these folks a follow and try as many things as you can from them during their next event. You won’t be disappointed! 🤤

We got word today that all Painted Tree Boutique locations are closing effective immediately. We’re posting this as we realize this is affecting quite a bit of small and local business owners, some that we know personally.

This is the time, now more than ever, to be supporting those who will be losing this source of income. We’re posting this as a way to extend our help, whatever that may look like.

For those businesses who are being affected by this, please comment on this post or reach out to us to let us know how we can help support you during this time.

We are wanting to hold an art/craft event in the next couple of months, but the venue space needs to be inside and affordable. If you have any leads, please let us know!

We’ll be praying that all of our small and local business friends will get through these hard times. It’s definitely not easy, but let’s support each other!

Hello everyone! ❤️💙 It’s been a minute since we’ve introduced ourselves. We’re R. Carnie + Ashley Littlefield and we run Maker’s Market Tennessee.

What is that you ask? Well, we are both an art/craft market AND a small and local business podcast. This all started in our hometown of Austin TX and we brought it with us here to Middle Tennessee.

We look forward to meeting and collaborating with even more of you this year!

💜 As some of you may know, my mom passed away very unexpectedly in March 2021. After her and my dad moved here to Tennessee, she was creating some of the most beautiful pieces of art and jewelry in her studio. Unfortunately once she passed, she left all of her creations behind that didn’t sell at the art & craft markets she had attended.

So what started as a love and passion for her, I named Feathers + Faith. 🪶✝️ Why that name? Well, she had a love for all things nature, especially birds, and she was a beautiful woman of faith. The name just felt right.

With that being said, I’ve held on to her pieces hoping to continue her work, but I have neither the time nor the space for it. What I’d love to have happen is to sell all of her pieces so they can go to good homes.

If anyone has a shop, or knows of one, that has space for not only jewelry but canvas art pieces that takes a percentage of sales, I’d love to chat. I’m not wanting to do Painted Tree as I’d rather support a local business. In the meantime, if you see anything that I’ve posted that you’d like to purchase, let’s chat! I’ve got lots of other art pieces and jewelry.

Thank you so much, everyone! 🙏🏻

If you’re in the Shelbyville area, you need to check out The Southern Cup. They’re a drive-thru coffee stand. If there’s any drink concoction you can think of, they’ll make it, and it’s delicious. It’s time to start supporting small and local businesses. ❤️💙Please pass up the big guys like Starbucks. They’ve got enough of our money!

☕️ A Note to Our Middle Tennessee Family ❤️

We’ve always believed that local coffee shops are more than just places to grab a drink. They’re places where stories are shared, friendships are built, and community comes alive.

Lately, we’ve seen how hard it can be for small, locally owned businesses to compete as more and more corporate chains move in. It’s something we feel, and we know we’re not alone. All across Middle Tennessee, local shops, restaurants, and family-run spots are working hard to keep their doors open, their teams supported, and their dreams moving forward.

We know that everyone loves the idea of supporting local. But real change happens when people choose to do it. Every time you visit a local shop, buy a local product, or leave a positive review, you’re helping keep your community strong. Words of support mean a lot, but your actions are what truly make the difference.

As we head into the holiday season, we just want to remind you that when you choose to shop local, you’re investing in your neighbors, your town, and your community’s future.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for standing with local businesses like ours. Together, we can keep Middle Tennessee’s small business community thriving, one cup at a time.
