Wait… have you ever thrown a full on party for absolutely no reason at all? 👀

Like no birthday. No holiday. No special occasion. Just woke up and decided today deserved to be celebrated?

Because that’s exactly what happened when my kids and I visited my sister on vacation.

She had already planted the idea in my head and the moment we got there we ran with it. We went to the store, grabbed decorations, a cake, pizza, picked out party favors and even got a piñata.

We turned the music up, played games and had a FULL ON glow party.

For no reason other than to celebrate life and each other. 🎉

And I’m telling you, that night was one of the most joyful, most memorable moments I have shared with my kids.

No big occasion needed. No waiting for the right date. Just us deciding that TODAY was worth celebrating.

I started calling them “just because” celebrations after that.

And that feeling, that pure joy of making an ordinary day feel extraordinary, planted a seed in me that has been growing ever since. 🌱
Something I have been working on was born from that exact feeling and I am SO excited to share it with you very soon.

Why is it ALWAYS the sibling who did NOT go to the party that wants the party favor the most? 😂

“Your kid walks in with that goodie bag and suddenly everybody in the house is interested.

And here they come like:

“Let me see.”
“Can I have that?”
“That’s not fair.”
“I want one too.”

Now you’re in full referee mode like “y’all… it’s a GOODIE BAG.” 😭
And in your head you’re like “I’m not doing this today.”

But honestly… that’s how you know it was a good favor.
If it’s exciting enough to cause sibling drama, it was a hit.

Not every design makes the final cut.

When I was testing these playdoh favor labels, I printed them on both matte and glossy paper to see which one would actually look better once everything was put together.

And honestly… the difference was bigger than I expected.

Brighter colors. ✨
Stronger paper.
Better overall look once it’s inside the favor bag.

Sometimes it’s the smallest details that make party favors stand out.

Okay… can I ask you something?

Why do we wait to celebrate?

Often times we tell ourselves “We’ll do something special later.” when we have more time, more energy, more money..
But later turns into months.

But the truth is kids don’t need always need a reason or a big production.

Kids don’t care if it’s elaborate.
Kids don’t care about perfect.
They don’t care if it’s Instagram worthy.

They just want to celebrate life in the moment.
They just want happiness and joy.
They want to bond.

They care that we turned the music on.
That we brought out cupcakes.
They care that we showed up and made the moment feel special.

So here it is... Your permission slip.

To celebrate absolutely nothing at all.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how to make this easier for us… and I can’t wait to share what I’ve been working on.

But first...

Why do kids act like the goodie bag is a trophy they earned? 😂
They’ll be sweet the whole party… then the SECOND they get that bag?

Immediate backseat unboxing.

And honestly… I love it!!!
Because it’s proof they had fun and now they get to take a little piece of the celebration home with them.
