🇺🇲Vietnam War Stories: Honoring the Heroes We Lost: Jeremiah Scott of Florida

Today we honor Gunnery Sergeant Jeremiah Scott, of Miami Florida, who served with the 3rd Marine Division, 3rd Battalion, 26th Marines, I Company. Jeremiah was fatally wounded on February 1, 1968 in the Quang Tri province of South Vietnam. He was 36 years old.

A recipient of the Purple Heart Medal, Gunnery Sergeant Scott is honored on the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial in Washington DC on Panel 36E, Line 60. Jeremiah lies in rest at Mount Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Midway Alabama. Lest We Forget.
