* Update to my previous post *

We've been working very hard to get the shop ready to reopen. However, after serious consideration, I've made the decision not to open the new store until Tuesday, June 30th. Physically, we're pushing ourselves very hard and need to slow down a bit. Allowing ourselves the grace to take a couple of extra days to finish this project is necessary for our physical and mental well-being. Moving and expanding into a 4600 sq. ft space in 7 days is daunting, to say the least, or just plain crazy 🤪. I tend to push myself to the point of breaking, which is fine for me, but I can’t allow Mom to overdo it more than she's capable of. I’d like to have her around for a while longer. So, please accept my apologies for not opening Saturday as previously anticipated, and thank you for your understanding and patience. I PROMISE we will open on Tuesday, June 30th at 10:00 am. Have a beautiful and blessed weekend ahead, and again, THANK YOU.

The time has come... FINALLY 😊. The store will be closed Tuesday, June 23rd, through Friday, June 27th, so we may transition into our newly expanded space. As most of you know, Dragonfly acquired the space next door and opened the wall between the two spaces. After several months of updating, we are finally transitioning into the new space. There will be more of the Dragonfly & Company you have grown to love, but I am so excited to welcome Sew Cozy Quilt Shop and my friend, owner Cheryl Herron, to the Dragonfly & Company family and space. Cheryl is a very familiar face around the Highcrest Centre, as she worked for The Great Harvest Bread Company for years. She will be bringing the cutest fabrics and quilting supplies to our area. It will be a few weeks yet before Cheryl is up and running (she had to wait until we made our transition), but it will absolutely be worth the wait. You will be able to access Sew Cozy Quilt Shop from our previous front door or simply by coming in through Dragonfly. Although we will be open on Saturday, we will not be 100% complete, but close. A joint grand opening will be held once everything is completed. Thank you so much for your continued support and for helping make all of this possible.
