Just a quick update to my clients. While sewing a sweatband into a hat last week, I felt a pop in the wrist I broke back in July. The entire hand shifted into the highly unnatural position you see here. It doesn’t really hurt, but I have no feeling in my fingers right now. I am meeting with my surgeon tomorrow. If you are waiting on your hat, I sincerely apologize for the delay. I will keep you posted and look forward to getting back to building your hats!

To my many loyal customers, particularly those awaiting your orders: I am doing my best, but my suppliers are struggling to get the raw materials to provide me their finished materials so I can fulfill orders.

I realize this is frustrating, and I share in that frustration with you. I am building hats as soon as I get what I need in stock. I am not sitting around and building hats only when I feel like doing so, because I desire to build each and every day.

Thank you all for your continued patience and understanding. I will get your hat on your head just as quickly as I can!

If you were admiring this gorgeous hat on WCCO-TV | CBS Minnesota this morning… you’re in luck!!! It was hand made by a local hat maker, Paul Hoiland, from True North Custom Hat Works LLC. Paul has generously donated a custom hat to be raffled off at our Halloween Party and Send-Off Celebration that is happening TOMORROW 4-8pm at Enchanted Hollow Stables!! That means it’ll be perfectly measured to fit to your head, and you’ll be able to pick all the materials and colors he uses. They are such high quality and amazing hats. Our winner will be very lucky!!

We’ll also have costume contests (for horses and humans!), trick-or-treating around the barn, a pumpkin carving contest, and more!!

It's been a busy summer at True North Custom Hat Works! In addition to filling orders, it has been my honor to serve on the Board of Directors for the Buffalo PRCA Championship Rodeo. Thanks to everyone who came out this past weekend and helped make our rodeo a huge success!
