It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my dear friend, Ted.
I met Ashley more than ten years ago at a Bible study, and over the years I have watched her and Ted build a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion to their four children. Many of you may also know them from their downtown Cadillac store, Charming North, where I was honored to carry my Two Copper Sparrows products. Last year, they made the incredibly difficult decision to close the shop so they could focus fully on Ted and the hard battle that lay ahead.
For two courageous years, Ted fought cancer with strength, grace, and unwavering faith. Sadly, he has passed on New Yearâs Eve and Ashley is now facing life as a widow while raising their four beautiful children.
Their journey has been shared openly through the Charming North blog, as well as their Facebook and Instagram pages â a powerful testimony of how their faith was tested and how they persevered through unimaginable pain.
God is good in all things, even when the pain feels unbearable.
A GoFundMe has been set up to help support Ashley and the children during this incredibly difficult season. If you feel led to give, any donation would be deeply appreciated. Above all, please keep this family lifted in prayer as they grieve, heal, and move forward one day at a time.
