We want to clarify the recent parking rate increase in the lot shared by Bostwick Lake Antiques and Aunt Belle’s Kitchen.
Customers visiting Bostwick Lake Antiques and Aunt Belle’s Kitchen continue to receive free parking. The paid parking is managed by a third-party company and primarily affects visitors using the lot to access Bostwick Lake Inn or the lake.
The third-party company increased its parking rates without our knowledge or consent. Once we became aware of the increase, we immediately contacted them and insisted that the rates be lowered to a more reasonable amount.
Although the paid parking is managed by another company, it is still part of our parking lot, and we understand how those rates can reflect on our businesses. We appreciate everyone who brought the issue to our attention and allowed us the opportunity to address it.
