Judy and I opened our store in 1984 selling new and slightly read books at discounted prices. Over the 38 years in Rockaway Borough we have expanded our inventory and services to include not only books, but a large selection of maps by Hagstrom, American Map, Rand McNally, ADC, Delorme, Geographia, and USGS Topographic maps. The famous Weird NJ magazines and the hard cover books of various states

are available for the curious mind to explore. We receive a new shipment of comic books every Wednesday to accommodate the casual and serious collectors. We stock comic bags, comic boards, comic boxes, card holders, pages, and albums. Our coin collector books, price guides and supplies are up to date also. The section devoted to local history on New Jersey is one of the largest in Morris County. The historic 1868 F.W. Beers and the 1887 Robinson Atlas of Morris County (that was out of print) we had reprinted and it is only available on our shelves. The majority of our books are categorized by subject and are in alphabetical order by Author making them easier to locate. The slightly read paperback books are half cover price and any under the cover price of $1.95 are one dollar. Book clubs take advantage of our extensive inventory of Dover Publishing’s Thrift Editions. They range from $1.00 to $5.00 and include many Plays, Poetry, Fiction and Non-Fiction titles. We offer a copy and fax service also. Approximately one quarter of our store offers a wide selection of children’s books and toys for the younger generation. Take a few minutes from your day and stop in to see us and a one of a kind store right here in Rockaway Borough.
