The final results are in for the sharpening contest at the Sharpener's Report Convention. Rod got 2nd place to Perfect Edge, a machine that costs $8-9000. Training on this machine takes 4 days. You can learn to sharpen on The Sharp Machine in an afternoon. For the price of our machine, 2nd place was great. I hope I can go next year. We still have a chance to win. Rod didn't use a glass platen, which could change the whole game. I am very pleased with Rod's success at reaching 2nd place with a machine that costs less than $1000. Way to go! Move over, Perfect Edge! We'll be back for a rematch!
