Oh friends, how is it that we’ve come to the end of our ‘Back to Basics’ A to Z oil series!? 😭 I have loved every second of this! And I hope you have also!

To wrap things up, we’re focusing on Zeal for the letter Z. Zeal, a noun, is ‘great energy or enthusiasm in pursuit of a cause or an objective.’ I have some serious zeal for my essential oils. And zeal is high vibe, baby! 🦄

So how about my two most favorite high vibe essential oils?

1️⃣ Rose - the highest vibe oil there is. Roll a dab on your wrists and over your heart to start each day and embrace all the good vibes. Roll it on your hands and gently though your hair mid day for a lovely high vibe pick-me up. 🌹

Today just may be my favorite ‘Back to Basics’ A to Z post of all of them. Because I haven’t shared this in a long time with y’all! Today’s letter in focus is Y, and we’re talking about Your Story. How your oily journey began.

I’m really hoping many of you take the time to tell me below how your oil story began... I would love to hear it. And really even more so, if your story hasn’t been written yet, I’d love to help you write it. I’d love to walk you down this oil path alongside you. 💜 But first... my story, for those of you wondering:

I went to an oil class 3 years ago and met someone who would literally change my life forever. Not only did I fall in love with the products of doTERRA I met one of my best friends.. Oils and a Bestie . I ordered just a few oils at RETAIL.. oh my! and then scheduled to host my own class in a few weeks. I didn't even enroll at my own class.. I WAS SUCH A SKEPTIC. It took six months to completely win me over.

I had an AHA! moment with my daughter one night using the Serenity blend to help her fall asleep and that was it.. I was sold. I was an exhausted first time mama who just wanted to get some sleep. Serenity allowed her to fall asleep within minutes.. when usually she would fight it for hours. I called my friend and just bought my $35 membership and started ordering regularly the next month. I started the biz a few months after that. And that's all she wrote.

Good morning, friends! We’re wrapping up this ‘Back to Basics’ A to Z oil series this week and I’m a bit sad about it... I can’t lie! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Today brings us all the way up to the letter W and we’re talking overall wellness. When you choose to add essential oils into your life, you’re in it for the long haul, for the lifestyle change. Well, most of you are! If you’re not there yet... you will be! Sit tight! 🙌🏻 So today I’m sharing just four of my everyday simple wellness practices. Just four. Just the four really important ones I think help to cover our overall wellness on the daily. Ready? 👇🏻

1️⃣ Lifelong Vitality - scroll back to letter L if you aren’t sure just what I’m talking about. This is doTERRA’s number one selling product (YEP!) and it’s not even an oil. Happiest Tuesday, friends! Today’s letter in focus is the letter V and we’re talking about those pesky things no one likes, VEINS. Spider veins, Varicose veins, no one likes them... let’s face it. 😭

BUT there are a few essential oils that can help to reduce the appearance of said veins. The two big ones that come to mind are:
🌿 Cypress - this oil is incredible for supporting blood flow + circulation. One of the many downsides to veins.
🌿 Lemongrass - supports dilation of blood vessels which in turn supports and improved circulation.

To help reduce the appearance of your veins, try massaging one drop each of the following with fractionated coconut oil to the area once to twice, daily.
🌿Cypress
🌿Geranium
🌿Frankincense
🌿Lemongrass

We have been covering SO much in this ‘Back to Basics’ A - Z oil series. And I’m excited on this Saturday evening to share a fun post with you for the letter U. Unusual uses for your oils! 🙌🏻

Here are my top three unusual uses, tried and true:

1️⃣ Lemon as ‘glue be gone’ - guys, lemon is the boss. You know when you buy something new and beautiful and you’re exited to use it and then realize it has that RIDICULOUS price sticker on it? Lemon 🍋. A few drops on the sticker, let it soak. Will peel right off with ease! (Also, drop lemon in your wastebasket to keep it fresh each time you add a new bag... thank me later)

2️⃣ DigestZen for your sinuses - you heard me right! When you’re all stuffed up and can’t breathe through your nose, massage diluted DigestZen onto your sinuses (careful to avoid your eyes). This helps relieve sinus pressure so you can breathe again! 💨

3️⃣ Peppermint for Potty Training - I just learned this! It’s genius! Saving it in my When helping your little ones learn to potty train, add a drop of peppermint to the toilet bowl before they sit down. This adds a cooling sensation when they sit on the potty and can often help them to go! 🚽 . (Works for post-delivery and post-surgery in the nether regions too. 😉)

Good morning everyone! We’re winding down our ‘Back to Basics’ A to Z oil series this weekend and it has been SO incredible sharing all of this goodness! Today’s focus is the letter T and we are going to dive in to Topical Use with our essential oils.

When we say ‘topical use’ we’re talking about one of three applications for our essential oils (bonus points if you can name the other two in the comments)! 🤗

We often choose topical use with our oils so that we can direct the oils straight to the area in need. For example, we choose to dilute DigetZen and massage it directly over the tummy and around the belly button to relieve tummy troubles. Or for an aching shoulder, we may choose Deep Blue, Lemongrass, and Marjoram diluted and massaged directly to the shoulder area. 🙌🏻

Likewise, we may choose to use our oils topically when we want to enhance mood support. We choose our pulse points to do this. Areas such as behind the neck, a swipe across the wrist, or even rolled down the spine and on the bottoms of our feet! 👣 These are wonderful places to apply our oils topically for our kiddos as well! .

When we apply our oils topically, we always want to think about diluting. Many of our essential oils can be sensitive to the skin, which is one reason for diluting. But an even better reason yet, diluting our essential oils helps to seal them in, and carry them to our bloodstream quicker and more effectively! So... diluting is best! ☝🏻 I choose Fractionated Coconut Oil to dilute my oils, but you may find others you like just as well! .

So when you’re needing localized relief, try topical use. If you need increased support, you may choose to try topical and internal use... or for emotional support, try topical and pair your diffuser blend with complimentary oils! 💜

QR...S! We’re up to letter S in our ‘Back to Basics’ A to Z oils series and I’m delighted to share about my favorite oils for your SKIN! Radiant, glowing skin is what every girl dreams of... oils help us to achieve our dream! ✨

Our skin health stems from within. Our gut is the culprit of most of our skin issues. Too many processed foods and sugars can cause our immune system to be compromised and in turn lead to more breakouts and acne prone skin. 👎🏻 So remember to nourish your skin from within. ✨ Manuka Touch - for when breakouts happen. Roll on skin to keep it clean and clear!
