A workshop for folks to learn how to defend themselves if attacked. Will utilize different techniques for communication as well as physical training. Please bring comfortable/exercise clothes and a yoga mat if you have one. The class requires no prior experience, body type, fitness level, age, or any other prerequisite. We can make jiu jitsu work for everyone because everyone deserves to be able to protect themselves.
Cooper Creagan teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Gracie Victor in Victor, NY. He personally received his instructor certification from Ryron and Rener Gracie in Torrance, CA. In his youth he trained in kempo karate, isshin-ryu, and wrestling, and is now a lifelong student of judo and jiu jitsu. However, he is proudest of his skills in conflict deescalation. Cooper graduated from Hamilton College and is a Product Owner at Mindex. He loves Rochester, dogs, and spreadsheets.
