We have to admit—we feel pretty lucky when we get to work in backyards like this.

Today we’re freshening up this beautiful outdoor space with a new layer of mulch. It’s amazing how something as simple as top dressing mulch can instantly make a landscape look cleaner, healthier, and more vibrant.

Not only does fresh mulch look great, but it also helps retain moisture, suppress weeds, and protect plant roots throughout the growing season.

One of the most rewarding parts of landscaping is watching a project grow and mature over the years.

We installed this landscape several years ago, and it’s amazing to see how much it has filled in and come to life. What starts as small plants and fresh mulch eventually becomes a beautiful, established landscape that adds character, color, and curb appeal to a home.

It’s a great reminder that landscaping is an investment that gets better with time. The vision we see on day one is only the beginning!

These plants may have looked small when they were first installed, but just give them a little time!

This landscape was designed with the future in mind. The boxwoods, perennials, ornamental grasses, and flowering groundcovers are already starting to establish themselves and fill in the space. As they mature, they’ll create a fuller, more colorful, and lower-maintenance landscape that looks great throughout the season.

A lot of people are surprised when new landscapes don’t look “finished” on day one, but that’s the beauty of working with living plants. Every year they become more established, healthier, and more impressive.

We can’t wait to see how this project looks a few years from now!

A year ago, we were out here shaping beds, installing rock, and putting the finishing touches on this landscape. Fast forward to today, and look at it now!

The plants are filling in beautifully, the landscape is maturing, and the entire front yard has developed into a clean, polished, and welcoming space. This is why we always remind customers that landscaping gets better with time.

It’s fun to look back at the installation photos and see how much growth can happen in just one season. Seeing projects develop and thrive is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do!

It’s amazing what a little vision, fresh mulch, and the right plants can do!

This landscape was looking overgrown and tired, but with a refreshed design, new plantings, crisp bed lines, and fresh mulch, the entire front yard has been transformed into a clean, welcoming space that complements the property beautifully.

The shrubs and perennials will continue to fill in and get even better with time. We love creating landscapes that not only look great today but will continue to grow and improve year after year.
