This Lime Jello Mold is one of those old-school family recipes that never goes out of style 💚

The first time I ever tasted it was at my in-laws’ home on Gunn Road during one of the many backyard barbecues they were famous for hosting. Good food, lawn chairs, laughter, and this dessert sitting on the table every summer. Now it’s become one of our family favorites too.

It’s light, creamy, nostalgic, and always disappears fast when we make it for guests.

Ingredients:
• 1 (3 oz) package lime Jell-O
• 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
• 1 cup milk
• 16 large marshmallows
• 1 #2 can crushed pineapple
• 1 pint whipping cream
• 1 (16 oz) carton sour cream

Instructions:
In a double boiler, melt the marshmallows with the milk. Once melted, pour over the lime Jell-O powder in a large bowl.

Beat on low speed and add chunks of cream cheese, crushed pineapple, whipped cream, and sour cream until combined.

Want to take it up another level? Add chopped walnuts 🌰

Simple, nostalgic, and always a crowd pleaser 💚
Oh and by the way it fits perfectly in our wooden serving bowl that comes with two gorgeous kitchen towels!
