Ok, hi new friends 👋

There are suddenly a LOT more of you here, so we figured it was probably time to tell you how this whole Janky thing happened.

Two years ago, Mark and I bought a little outdoor gear store called Janky Gear. We didn’t have some huge master plan. We just thought a secondhand outdoor gear store was a pretty cool idea. We had to move it to a new location immediately! There were lots of late nights and questioning ourselves 👀

Two years later, it has become so much more than we expected.

It’s our three kids growing up alongside the business, our amazing staff, the consignors who trust us with their gear, the people who find their next favorite piece here, and all of you who keep showing up.

And now there are so many new people coming on this journey with us!

So if you’re new: welcome. We’re really happy you’re here.

We’re here for good gear, secondhand finds, getting outside, and making the outdoors feel a little less intimidating and a lot more accessible.

Fall consignment is officially OPEN at Janky!

If you’ve got jackets, fleeces, hiking pants, boots, packs, rain gear, camping gear, or other outdoor stuff sitting around that you’re not using anymore, bring it in. Someone else might be looking for exactly what you’ve got.

Just make sure it’s clean, in good condition, and everything still works.

And if you have a friend whose gear collection has gotten a little out of hand… send this their way. 👀
