Discovering a collection of photographs taken during the 1940s while stationed in WWII truly reshaped my perspective on the past. There’s a common belief that people from earlier eras were always serious, even stoic, especially in such trying times. Yet, here were these young men, full of life—forming human pyramids on the beach, playing basketball, and simply savoring moments with friends.

These snapshots remind us that despite the passage of time, some things remain timeless….especially the outfits 👌🏻
