This is what five minutes of helping Dad today looked like 🤣 not sure if anything was really accomplished but the boys had big smiles the whole time and got to feel like they helped out! Once they left, dad got back to work preparing for the shows ahead!

These pendants will be hitting our Etsy shop soon, and we’re planning on them being a huge hit at the festivals coming up this Summer. They’re the perfect mix of simplicity, uniqueness, and art — and because of the natural wood grain and shifting colors, no two will ever be the same.

And here’s the part that means the most to me: my wife never wears jewelry… but she wears hers every day. That’s when I knew these pieces were something special.

A customer first approached me three years ago after a show, hoping for a piece framed in teak—a wood meaningful to his family because it comes from the same region in India as his father‑in‑law. At the time, teak couldn’t be imported, so the project had to wait.

Three years later, my supplier messaged me that teak was available again—briefly. I ordered some immediately and reached back out to the customer. Thankfully, his interest never faded.

Seeing this piece finally come to life feels incredible.

This piece is inspired by the kingfisher — a creature of focus, clarity, and fearless leaps. Carved in wood, carrying the same energy. The round body of water is turned from Canarywood, with ripples carved into the surface to capture the motion of water. This bowl was made out of white oak. It was hand-turned on the lathe. I added a couple of burned lines and the embossed dots, the tree did the hard work to to create the most beautiful pattern naturally. This one will be up on our Etsy site soon!
