For years Delta 14 Inc. has focused on the M1A platform. One item that has come up many times is the popular rifle the AR 15 problems. Because Delta 14 Inc. prides itself in problem solving many comments came it to solve an issue with the AR platform upper and lower mating. Accuracy for the AR platform is dependent on the upper and lower receiver being compliant and low movement. Due to the take-down pins, this design will never be a perfect fit. Any movement between the upper and lower receiver will affect accuracy. This is also referred to as “battle rattle” and no matter the manufacture this is a consistent inherent issue. Delta 14 Inc. has solved this issue with the new wedge takedown pins. You don’t need tools to install it because an empty shell casing becomes your screwdriver. By tightening the pins this is a positive engagement of the upper and lower receiver. No one in the industry has anything like this. These pins are high-quality 303 stainless steel and a custom fastener to accommodate the empty shell casing. If you have an AR 15/M4 platform this is a must-have.
