This time of year can be tough. Kids are out of school, vacations are happening, routines change, and many local businesses feel it.

As we getting closer to six years since starting Sun & Spruce in our kitchen, it’s a reminder that small businesses don’t survive on big moments alone. They survive because people choose to shop local, share posts, leave recommendations, and support the businesses they love.

So if you have a favorite local shop, restaurant, maker, farmer, artist, or service provider, give them a little extra love this summer. It REALLY matters more than you know.
