🚨 Vendor Check-In for the August 15th Tanglewood Sports Card Show 🚨

If you’re planning to set up as a vendor at the August 15th Tanglewood Sports Card Show, please take a moment to call or text Paul to confirm you’re on the vendor list.

We’re working on updating and fine tuning our vendor roster to make sure everyone is accounted for and to help the day run as smoothly as possible.

If you haven’t confirmed yet, please reach out to Paul as soon as you can. We appreciate everyone’s help and can’t wait to see another great lineup of sports cards, Pokémon, TCG, memorabilia, and more!

❤️Our community lost one of the good ones.❤️

Woody was truly an original and a longtime fixture of the Tanglewood Card Show and the Roanoke Valley sports card community. For years, he brought smiles, stories, and friendships to every show. Whether it was talking baseball, discussing the weather, or just catching up over sports cards, Woody always made time for everyone.

He was the kind of person who made this hobby special. Always willing to help, always ready to listen, and always happy to share his passion with others. His familiar face and friendly conversations will be deeply missed by so many.

Thank you, Woody, for the memories, the laughs, and for being such an important part of our community. The card shows won’t be the same without you.

🚨 Vendor Awareness for the Tanglewood Sports Card Show This Weekend 🚨

We want to make all vendors aware that there have been several reported theft incidents in the area recently, including one that has impacted a local card shop.

Please stay alert throughout the show and keep an eye on your showcases, inventory, and personal belongings at all times. If you notice anyone behaving suspiciously or recognize the individual shown in the attached photo, please do not confront them. Instead, notify Paul immediately so the situation can be handled appropriately.

A few reminders:

✅ Keep display cases locked when possible
✅ Avoid leaving high-value cards unattended
✅ Be aware of distractions and large groups around tables
✅ Watch out for fellow vendors and help keep the show safe for everyone

Our Friends Cards On Deck Events are hosting a Trade Night at Big Lick Brewery this evening before the big 540 Card Show at the Salem Civic Center tomorrow! Fun evening and day in the hobby within the valley this weekend!
