This Stanley cup is teaching us a MULTI MILLION DOLLAR LESSON

sometimes you don’t need a new product… you just need a new audience.

Stanley is a 110 year old company and in 2019 they hit $73 Million dollars in sales

Their primary target audience were working men who needed to stay hydrated on the job sites, while hiking, etc etc

In late 2019/2020, a popular blog for women posted about this cup and her audience of women went crazy over it.. causing it to go viral several times

Instead of brushing off this sudden surge in sales from a new and unexpected audience (like many brands do)….

Stanley’s new Global President (who has a strong marketing background) decided they should go all in on this new woman audience

They launched brand new colors that were pastels and colorful (opposite of what they had done for the last century)

They did collabs with influencers and other popular brands like Starbucks

They created waitlists of thousands of women and sold out for every new launch

This year, in 2023, they are projected to hit $750 Million Dollars in sales.

Sometimes you can have a winning product in your back pocket… you just need to get it in front of the right audience

When you buy a house, get a 15 year fixed mortgage rather than a 30 year mortgage. Saves a lot of money in interest over the life of the loan. If you must get the 30 year mortgage verify no prepayment penalty. This gives you the flexibility of paying off early if you are able. But also gives the option of making lower payments when times are tough.

Did you know that having mobile phone service with any company doesn’t help your credit?! But if you fall behind or cancel before contract is fulfilled that will affect your credit?! Why pay $100 a month for service! I have STRAIGHT TALK! It is a prepaid mobile phone service and you choose how much you can or want to pay starting at $35 a month! They even have yearly payment options! I’ve had Straight Talk for over a year and I do not regret it at all! The signal is awesome as well! There are other options as well like Boost Mobile.

Save your change! When you pay for something in cash, pay with bills and save the change! I save it in a jar, my goal each year is to cash the change for Christmas, this little tip has helped me for years. I know that these days most of us use debit card, when I do, I add up the change every week and put the dollar amount in a jar when it totals $1.

Over 10+ years ago I started doing taste and smell test studies, it was then that I was informed that most "Store Brands" were VERY similar if not the EXACT same as "Brand Name", so don't waste your money on paying for the label, go with the "store brand" you will most likely be getting the exact same thing but cheaper!

The most waste of money is on groceries, we tend to buy more than needed and it gets thrown away! I learned this the hard way a year or so ago when I was doing a yearly deep cleaning of my kitchen and I threw away, expired mayo, bbq sauce, ketchup etc., grocery stores have sales where if you buy a certain quantity of an item you get up to a dollar off on top of an already discounted price, then some items has current coupons out so we buy more than we need/use because it’s at a great price! So I decided to just buy ONE of an item when on sale and if I still have some left when sale comes around again I just skip it, also, to avoid over buying (over spending), I started making a weekly menu and just buy the needed ingredients, this has helped a lot and cut my grocery spending in half!

I paid $300+ a month just for cable for years! I tried DirectTV, Dish and Cox and each company was just as pricey as the other! I now just pay
$9.99 for Netflix,
$9.99 for Hulu and (just added)
$6.99 for Disney+
My family hasn't even noticed the difference! Of course I have to have internet which is $89 a month with Cox (only provider available in my area).
But for NEW customers Cox has this offer that if you have students living at service address you can get internet service for $9.99 a month!!!
