Mad Platter Riverside

As of today, 10/7/20, The Mad Platter in Riverside will be permanently closed.  Tough decision, but COVID-19 and people’s deep concerns over it, the financial hit of being forced to close all of our stores for so many months, combined with the state of the Record Industry and physical product, have brought out the Grim Reaper for the Mad Platter and Halloween this year.  We will be focusing all of our time and energy on keeping Rhino Records & Video Paradiso vibrant and alive. Many businesses are suffering and retail, is especially being punished, in this “click and ship; USPS lost my package” new world.  A 36 year run for any store is a great one, and we would like to thank the Inland Empire for your support over these years, and we hope to see you in Claremont when you can visit. But for now, let us remember some of the great times and people at Mad Platter, and a large shout out to all of the managers and employees over the years, who are far too many to name, but you the customers knew by heart.

For the safety and health of our employees and customers, Rhino Records, Mad Platter, and Video Paradiso, will be temporarily closed thru April 19 as per the public health order of the government in California. We will be closely monitoring the situation and releasing any announcements via our social channels on Instagram & Facebook.

In the meantime, look for our webstore at rhinorecords.cc to be opening on the web next week. It’s not the real thing, but it will be the best we can do given the times. Shipping on all items will be free!

A sincere thank you from all of us for your support and loyalty over the years and we will see you all sooner than later when we all emerge from the Shadows of The Porcupine Tree.

As of today, 3/17, Rhino, The Mad Platter & Video Paradiso will be open from 11am to 6pm and purchasing used products in all stores until 5pm. We are closely
monitoring all events in this very fluid situation and of course are following all CDC guidelines in the cleanliness of our stores. Caution, Patience, and Compassion
remain our motives while trying to reduce the current shadow of fear. Please stay tuned to our social media channels for further updates.

Hoping all our customers, friends and family are safe out there. Rhino Records, Video Paradiso, and Mad Platter Will be Open Regular Store Hours This Weekend 3/13 – 3/15 and like you, we are taking extra measures to clean and sanitize surfaces, doors, handles and all high traffic areas. All employees have been trained in sanitizing and hand washing techniques per the general CDC guidelines with hand sanitizer at the ready on our counters. All of our Village & University Neighbors are doing the same. Take care & we will do the same.
